The mattress has an exterior egg crate top layer and ten gel bladders to relieve pressure build-up against the body. The cover of the medical overlay mattress is waterproof so there is no need to worry about fluid penetration. The Premium Guard Gel/Foam Overlay can support up to 300 pounds.
