The ACCU-CHEK Compact Blue control solution works on the ACCU-CHEK Compact line of products. The Compact Blue control solution keeps the meter and test strips operating properly to give the accurate results with every reading.
- The ACCU-CHEK Compact Blue control solution is compatible with the all ACCU-CHEK Compact meters
- The meter will automatically be able to discern the control solution from blood and run the control test
- Control tests are simple. Place a drop of ACCU-CHEK Compact Blue control solution on a test strip instead of a blood sample. See if the results fall within the control range (refer to the test strips package to find the normal range). If the reading falls within the proper range the meter is working properly.
- When to perform control tests:
*As the first test with any new meter
*On a monthly basis
*If a meter had been dropped, spilled on, or exposed to extreme temperatures
*After a battery change
*When opening a new package of test strips
*If you suspect test results are inaccurate
- 2 vials: One 3 mL High Level & One 3 mL Low Level
