The Tenderfoot Heel Incision Device allows a high-quality blood sample to be taken from infants with as little pain and trauma as possible. The Tenderfoot device takes the sample from the heel, penetrating just deep enough to get an effective blood draw, but remaining above the level of sensitive nerve bundles in the heel.
