EMS anti-embolism stockings help people who are in a prone position for extended periods of time by keeping blood from collecting in the lower extremities. Anti-embolism stocking are intended for individuals on doctor ordered bed rest or those who are confined to a bed. The anti-embolism stockings prevents clots from forming by offering gradient pressure to the legs, allowing the blood and fluid to circulate normally. The gradient pressure present in Medline stockings has been determined and designed by vascular specialists. The stockings are white in color and are open toed. The EMS stockings come 6 pairs to a box.
