Anti-embolism stocking help people who are on doctor ordered bed rest or those who are confined to a bed by keeping blood from collecting in the lower extremities. The anti-embolism stockings prevents clots from forming by offering gradient pressure to the legs, allowing the blood to circulate. Medline's EMS anti-embolism stockings have been created by vascular specialists to determine the proper amount of gradient pressure. The stockings come in white and are open toed. Sold by the box.
